Atelier Verro is an Australian candle house based in Melbourne, Australia. We pour small batches and sell direct. Contact: atelier@atelierverro.com.
Products
We offer fragranced home products as listed on the site, including:
- Signature candles — 220g, about 60 hours of burn with proper care, in refillable vessels
- Petite and Grand candle formats where offered (Petite around 22 hours of burn; Grand around 110 hours)
- Wax refills — 220g refill pucks at $65 AUD, designed for the Signature vessel (save $40 compared with a new Signature candle at the pricing shown on site)
- Discovery Set — $65 AUD; the site states every dollar comes off your first Signature
- Other formats and gift options as displayed (for example room spray, diffuser, trimmer set, and gift packs where listed)
Our candles are hand-poured in coconut-soy wax at a 12% fragrance load, with a lead-free cotton wick. Batches are poured, cured (including a 14-day cure described on site), and inspected by hand. Product names, notes, sizes, and prices are as shown on the collection and product cards at the time of order.
Burn times assume proper care: first burn to a full melt pool, then wick trims to about 5mm. The first burn should run until the wax melts edge to edge (often two to three hours). Short burns can create tunnelling.
Prices and currency
All prices displayed at checkout are in Australian dollars (AUD). The order total shown includes product subtotal and shipping as calculated at checkout. Shipping is shown as a separate line: $9.95 AUD flat, or Free when free express shipping applies.
We sell direct so the price reflects the wax, glass, and production rather than department-store markup. Prices may change on the site; the price charged is the price shown when you complete your order.
Shipping
- Orders placed before 12PM AEST ship the same business day where that dispatch standard applies.
- Free express shipping on Australian orders of $150 AUD or more (Australia-wide tracked express).
- Below that threshold, shipping is $9.95 AUD.
- We ship from Melbourne worldwide via tracked courier.
- For international orders, duties and import charges, where charged, are the recipient’s responsibility.
- Parcels are packed for glass in double-walled cartons. Breakages in transit are replaced as set out in our Refunds & Returns policy.
Delivery times after dispatch depend on the courier and destination. Tracking is provided for tracked courier shipments.
Gifting
Every order arrives in a rigid box with tissue and a hand-tied ribbon at no extra charge for gift wrap as described on the site. You may add an optional gift note at checkout (up to 280 characters). We write the note by hand. No printed gift cards and no invoice are placed in the gift parcel. Prices are not shown in the parcel packaging as described on site.
Orders and acceptance
To order, add items to your cart and complete checkout with:
- First name, last name, and email
- Street address, suburb, Australian state or territory, and 4-digit postcode
- Optional gift note
- Payment method: card (Visa, Mastercard, or Amex)
You must provide complete and accurate details. The site validates a working email format and a 4-digit Australian postcode at checkout.
When an order is accepted, you receive a numeric order reference. Keep that number for enquiries.
We may decline or cancel an order if product is unavailable, if details are incomplete or appear invalid, or if payment cannot be completed. If we cancel after payment has been taken through a live payment connection, we will arrange a refund of amounts paid for that cancelled order.
Payment
Payment is by card only as presented at checkout: Visa, Mastercard, or Amex, described as secure card payment. Totals are in AUD.
Until a live payment provider (such as Stripe) is connected, checkout may operate in demo mode: the order can be saved locally in your browser and is not a live charge. When live card payments are enabled, payment is processed by the connected provider and your order is subject to successful payment authorisation.
Refills
Signature vessels are designed to be refilled. When empty, wash the vessel with warm soapy water and use a 220g refill puck ($65 AUD) for the same fragrance load and burn characteristics as described for Signature, at forty dollars less than a new candle at the pricing shown on site. Refills are products for purchase like other items in the cart; they do not create a subscription unless separately stated on the site (none is stated at present).
Product care and safe use
Candles involve open flame. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Trim the wick before lighting. Do not burn to the very bottom of the vessel. Follow the care guidance in our FAQ and shipping & care sections. Misuse or failure to follow basic candle safety is outside the intended use of the product.
Intellectual property
Atelier Verro names, product names, fragrance descriptions, site text, and imagery on this website are used for the Atelier Verro brand. You may not copy the site content for commercial use without our permission.
Website use
You may use this site to browse products and place legitimate personal orders. You must not misuse the site (for example by attempting to disrupt checkout, scrape content at scale for competing commercial use, or submit false order details).
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Atelier Verro is not liable for loss that is not a reasonably foreseeable result of a breach of these terms or of our failure to meet a consumer guarantee. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia applicable in Victoria, where Atelier Verro is based in Melbourne. Courts in that jurisdiction may hear disputes, without limiting any rights you have as a consumer under Australian law.
